Location: Rampart, AK

CRW provided construction administration services for wastewater lagoon upgrades in Rampart, Alaska. The project included the construction of a new secondary treatment cell, reconstruction and expansion of the primary treatment cell, and replacement of the force main to the lagoon and the effluent discharge line to the Yukon River. CRW was responsible for project management/coordination, bid document assistance, submittal reviews, RFI and DCVR responses, periodic inspections, record drawings, ADEC approval to operate, and an APDES seasonal discharge permit. The project was constructed by force account methods over the course of two construction seasons.

A geotechnical investigation was performed to support CRW’s design of a new sewage lagoon for the community of Rampart. The geotechnical work included test pits, percolation tests, and soil laboratory testing of the existing conditions to support site development and the lagoon design and construction.
