The Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) has contracted with CRW to provide preliminary engineering and design services for Image/Reflection Drive area upgrades. Construction of Phase I began in September 2020.
MOA is working with CRW on design for the upgrade Lois Drive (from West 32nd Avenue to Benson Boulevard) and West 32nd Avenue (from Lois Drive to Minnesota Drive). The project will improve non-motorized facilities and connectivity through the reconstruction of the roadway.
The project will reconstruct 48th Avenue and Cordova Street to MOA collector street standards. Improvements are expected to include foundation rehabilitation, new pavement, curb and gutter, storm drains, street lighting, pedestrian facilities, traffic calming, and landscaping.
CRW is working with MOA on the upgrade of Duben Avenue (west and east of Muldoon Road) to the latest roadway standards to improve vehicular and pedestrian safety in the neighborhood. Construction of the west project area was completed in 2018. Completion of the east project area is awaiting funding.
