CRW provided construction administration and daily on-site field inspection services of the dynamic compaction of the old landfill below Merrill Field Airport and other airport improvements. CRW was also the Engineer of Record.

This fast-paced reconstruction of Taxiways G and Q and the Golf East and Quebec Aprons included new structural sections, pavement, taxiway and apron lighting, aircraft tie-downs and heater outlets, utility relocations, landfill gas extraction systems, drainage systems, and striping and signage. The project also included dynamic compacting of the underlying closed landfill waste to provide a solid foundation for the improvements.
