CRW provided planning, a pilot study, and design for a new, fill and draw, water treatment plant and washeteria. The existing water system was no longer potable and the new Chandalar River source was experiencing significant turbidity changes throughout the year. A conventional, filtration packaged treatment process skid was installed along with all piping and controls.

CRW provided planning, design, permitting, surveying, and force account construction management services for a new water treatment plant and washeteria facility. Staff responsibilities included material procurement, approval of timesheets, site inspections, tracking of construction costs, record drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, and on-site system training to the local operators.

CRW provided the structural and civil engineering, and process design for a new, 2,250-square-foot, water treatment facility and washeteria. The facility is a single-story, wood-framed building with structural insulated panel walls and roof. An adjustable steel post and concrete pad foundation system was provided to combat the challenging soil conditions prevalent in the region.
