Location: Seward, AK

CRW provided axial and lateral pile design for a temporary bridge crossing Victor Creek as part of the Alaska Department of Transportation (ADOT) Victor Creek Bridge Replacement project. CRW developed soil profiles based on the ADOT geotechnical data and developed detailed designs based on various load. In addition, CRW designed the bridge abutments consisting of mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining walls. All designs followed AASTHO LRFD Bridge specifications. CRW also provided pile driving observation during construction for the pier piles.
N Seward WST

Location: Seward, AK

CRW provided design for 8,500 feet of water main, a Class A public water well, 500,000-gallon insulated water storage tank, and water facility building, including pressure pumps, a chlorination system, and backup generator. Increased water storage capacity was provided for the north area of Seward and the ability to control Seward’s entire water system from one location.
