The MOA is planning to reconstruct Tasha Drive (from Flamingo Drive to Northwood Street) to meet current MOA design criteria for a local roadway.

The MOA is planning to upgrade the following Norann Subdivision roadways: West 57th Avenue, West 58th Avenue, and a portion of Cope Street. CRW has been contracted to provide preliminary engineering and design services.

The City of Whittier is planning to construct a new two-lane gravel road that extends 2.5 miles from the existing Shotgun Cove Road terminus to Trinity Point (running parallel to Passage Canal) as well as adjoining access roads.

MOA is planning to upgrade East 42nd Avenue between Lake Otis Parkway and Florina Street. CRW was contracted to provide preliminary engineering and design services.

The Municipality of Anchorage has contracted with CRW to provide professional services to evaluate alternatives to upgrade Golden View Drive from Rabbit Creek Road to Romania Drive to current Municipal collector road standards and evaluate improvements to the Golden View Drive/Rabbit Creek Road intersection.

The Anchorage Metropolitan Area Transportation Solutions (AMATS), in coordination with the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) and the Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is planning to design and construct recommended projects from the 2010 Anchorage Bicycle Plan.

The project will reconstruct 48th Avenue and Cordova Street to MOA collector street standards. Improvements are expected to include foundation rehabilitation, new pavement, curb and gutter, storm drains, street lighting, pedestrian facilities, traffic calming, and landscaping.

The Municipality of Anchorage has contracted with CRW to evaluate alternatives to upgrade these roadways to current Municipal standards, between Northern Lights Boulevard to Spenard Road. This will improve both pedestrian and driver safety. Improvements are expected to include a new road base, pavement, drainage system, pedestrian/bicycle facilities, and lighting.
