CRW offers an annual Engineering & Geomatics Scholarship in honor of CRW’s founder Willy Van Hemert and his ongoing contributions to CRW and the engineering community. It began in 2019 and typically includes 1-2 $2,500 scholarship(s). Our goal is to encourage and support the next generation of Alaska engineers and surveyors.
We are proud to recognize our 2025 winners:
Tanner Betts (University of Alaska Anchorage, Bachelor’s program, civil engineering student), and Gildardo Agustin Mendoza Achee (University of Alaska Anchorage, Master’s program, electrical engineering student).
Minimum application requirements:
- Current Alaska Resident or graduate from an Alaska high school.
- Undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited civil/mechanical/electrical/geotechnical engineering or geomatics program.
- Cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 or greater.
