Shotgun Cove Road Extension

Location: Whittier, AK

CRW surveyors collected topographic and ROW data for the extension of Shotgun Cove Road for the City of Whittier by creating a horizontal and vertical control network for the project area, and a network of aerial targets, that were used to assist in the effort of creating an accurate aerial image for the whole area. CRW processed and organized the data collected to create base maps, surface models, and establish ROW for the project area. Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) was used to collect topographic data while our surveyors ran a chainsaw to create line of sight while traversing throughout the entire project area.
