Shane has over 25 years of professional experience, with an emphasis on aviation, transportation, and drainage designs. He leads CRW’s Aviation Engineering Group, focused on projects at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and rural airports throughout Alaska.

A life-long Alaskan raised in Valdez, Pete provides planning, design, specification development, contract documents, and construction management in both urban and rural communities. He is a contract/project manager for water distribution, wastewater collection, roadway, drainage, and site-development projects. An avid biker, Pete enjoys bike vacations in both the United States and Europe, and tries to take a couple trips each year to places he has not biked before.

Bill is a lifelong Alaskan who started at CRW as an intern. Thirty years later, Bill is now a contract/project manager for civil engineering projects with a broad background in civil design, including site design, roadway, transit, trail, drainage, and water and wastewater improvement projects. His experience also includes project management, public involvement, and technical writing. Bill loves to ski and can be heard wishing for snow in the midst of even the most beautiful Alaska summer.

Jon manages the CRW office in Palmer. He has practiced in the areas of civil, process, and structural design for over 30 years in communities throughout Alaska. His diverse design and project/contract management experience includes water, sanitary sewer, and Arctic utility systems, water and wastewater treatment, roadways, and site development. Born and raised in Alaska, Jon enjoys the outdoors, spending time and traveling with his family.

Tony is a senior land surveyor and Certified Federal Surveyor with over 28 years of experience leading field surveys and mapping for design, right-of-way, land/site development, and construction projects. Tony has been a field survey technician, crew chief, office survey technician, and survey manager. After receiving his PLS registration, Tony became a partner in a land surveying firm in Ohio where he managed survey crews throughout the eastern United States. Tony is CRW’s Chief Drone Officer and a FAA-Certified Unmanned Aerial Vehicle pilot. Tony credits his success to a strong work ethic instilled by his father.

Justin is a lifelong Alaskan. He began at CRW in 2000 as a summer intern before joining full-time in 2003. He is a project manager/engineer on a variety of civil engineering projects throughout Alaska involving transportation, site, and utility (water, sewer, and storm drain) infrastructure. Justin works with an emphasis on thoroughly understanding his client’s expectations and producing accurately designed construction documents within budget and to the highest standards. He is currently a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers. During his free time, he enjoys the outdoors with his wife and has a passion for skiing.

Andrea has a strong background in rural-infrastructure planning, as well as design and construction management. She joined CRW in 2003, after spending three years working in Unalaska and continues to work for rural Alaska, designing infrastructure and facilities. She has first-hand experience in project management, construction management, grant writing, permit and regulatory compliance, and flood control design and analysis. Andrea enjoys traveling, whether to rural Alaska or warm places outside Alaska with her husband and son.

Karl has over 25 years of experience in the planning, design and construction management of civil-infrastructure projects in rural Alaska. He has completed a wide range of projects, including bulk-fuel storage and handling, power generation, alternative energy, water treatment and distribution, sewer, and solid-waste-disposal systems. Karl focuses on improving energy and sanitation systems for rural residents. He has completed projects in over 80 rural communities across the state. This experience has given him an excellent understanding of the challenges associated with remote, cold-climate construction and logistics. Born and raised in Chugiak, Karl enjoys spending time with his family hunting, hiking, ocean kayaking, and backcountry skiing. He is also a hobby welder and woodworker.

Matt manages CRW’s Olympia, Washington office. He oversees all CRW projects in the Northwest and leads CRW’s Federal market sector group. His experience includes design of transportation, sanitation, drainage, and site design project and management of multidiscipline teams for vertical construction projects for both architects and contractors. Matt is a registered professional engineer in eight states and has obtained his Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and Professional Transportation Planner (PTP) certifications. In support of his U.S. Department of Defense clientele, Matt has also earned his Anti-terrorism Officer Level II certification. Matt enjoys being outdoors and traveling with his family throughout the Northwest.

Jeff is a contract/project manager with over 30 years of engineering experience in the planning, design, and construction of rural Alaska water and sewer improvement projects throughout Alaska. Since joining CRW, Jeff has specialized in planning and feasibility studies, engineering analyses, and the development of simple and cost-efficient design solutions. In addition to his engineering work, Jeff oversees the construction management of his projects utilizing local work forces. In true Alaska fashion, Jeff enjoys hunting and fishing, as well as travel to warmer climates during the winter months. His favorite journeys have included Mexico, Hawaii, Tahiti, Moorea, Bali, Rota, Saipan, China, Hong Kong, and Palau.

Brian serves as CRW's President, with over 40 years of experience in civil engineering contract/project management, public involvement, marketing, and business development. Hired as an intern in 1981, Brian began working full time for CRW in 1984 after college graduation. He enjoys just about any outdoor activity and supports his community’s infrastructure not only as an engineer but also as a volunteer with the local skiing and bicycling user groups. When Brian is not at his desk, he is out enjoying the local trails with his dog.
