ANC Postmark Drive Repairs

This state-funded project rehabilitated 2,700 feet of Postmark Drive from International Airport Road to the North Terminal exit. The objectives were to rehabilitate a deteriorating roadway surface while limiting repair methods to the first few inches. CRW studied different repair options, (overlay, minor reconstruction, complete reconstruction) and then ANC selected repair methods. The selected typical section used was milling and paving with removing and replacing any cracks within the underlayment. A limited segment of the roadway received complete subgrade replacement. This project was completed in 2020.
