The Bayshore West Subdivision Road Improvement District (RID) project is shut down for the winter.Completed construction work includes: 

• New pavement, gutters, and curbs
• Replacement of the existing 4-foot wide sidewalks with 5-foot wide sidewalks
• Reconstruction of three asphalt pathways that connect Bayshore West Subdivision to Mears Middle School.
• A new storm drain system (includes extending it to Bettles Bay Loop and Eshamy Bay Drive)
• New lighting
• Traffic calming to discourage speeding

Landscaping will be completed in the summer of 2009.
