Teaching People to Live and Love Without Violence

December 18, 2015 – CRW teamed up with our office neighbors Livingston Slone to deliver donations to Abused Women’s Aid In Crisis (AWAIC). The holiday elf team members brought donations from their own firms, as well as from Reid Middleton and RSA, to the shelter.

An organization providing safe shelter and intervention from domestic violence for all genders and ages, AWAIC also reaches out to the community to educate people on how to break cycles of domestic violence. It offers services including a 24 hour shelter, a crisis line, crisis intervention, case management, legal advocacy, and low-cost housing for women. AWAIC works towards helping the victims of domestic violence recover and move forward. Interested in getting involved this holiday season? AWAIC always needs monetary and in-kind donations, and is hosting a gift-wrapping event this coming weekend. Check out their website for more information!

The article is the fourth in CRW's Holiday Season of Giving Back series. Our goal is to increase awareness of local non-profits who help the less fortunate, with the hopes that it will gain them more resources to improve our community.
