CRW had their Clean Air Bike Challenge on Saturday, May 2. As in years past, the bike ride starts and ends at Crystal Lake-Willow, with a mid-point break at the Miller's Market in Houston, Alaska for ice cream. The purpose of our event is to raise money for a good cause, and have fun doing it!
The CHALLENGE was to raise money for the United Way. Every rider was asked to donate between $0.25 and $1.00 per mile that they biked over the weekend. Principals, Willy and Brian, matched $0.50 for every mile participants rode, and eight people TOOK THE CHALLENGE! Monies were raised for a great cause,....and fun, along with 34 miles, and a bbq was had by all!
